chrome window rubber inserts

Having purchased a set of chrome rubbers with grooves in from a supplier in the uk, having paid a window fitter to install them it seems that the chrome insert is very poor quality.

 Does anyone know anywhere were I can buy the inserts from I have tried VW Dealers & GPC in Luton to no avail.

Im also missing the trim for the driver and passenger door (2 dr hard top).

Any help before I have to chuck these rubbers away and go back to standard rubbers, which I will be gutted to do as I have spent over ?200 on the bits.

the chrome inserts for the front,rear and two side glasses you should be able to get from VAG.They crop up from time to time on e-bay aswell.You will need some of the chrome connecting trim metal clips aswell.You could also try( waterpumpers online ) german company which sell the seals for the chrome trim on english e-bay,they sell the chrome trim.The chrome inserts for the doors are rocky horse to get for 2 door golf.Keep trying e-bay.
