chrome trim on plastic bumpers

hi, im restoring a series one and have opten for plastic bumpers due to the stupid price of chrome ones. but was wondering if its possable to change the chrome trim on the plastic ones as mine have faded, anyone tried this or have any ideas? thanks

as i know is imposible to buy only trim.trim on bumpers is removable but from where to take new one hmmmm........i just bought other secondhand perfect condition bumper.
Remember, VW made the last car in 1992. After that they started making vehicles.
