Chrome Side Trim

Looking for some chrome side trim for my GTI hatchback. Does anyone know if the cabriolet ones fit? Also, the only ones I've found are chrome on black rubber. Did they make any that fit without the black rubber?

Any cab ones will fit a 3 door tintop no probs. I don't think the plain chrome strips without black rubber were standard on any model (in this country anyway). They are hard to come by and probably pricey. I've occasionally seen them on Ebay. Also Volkswarenhaus have them for 49 Euros (sill trims are extra) if you're willing to wait a while for delivery. You might want to try asking someone in this club who you know has them on their 3 door about them, like Ross_M for example. Sure he won't mind.
