Car still leaking
Having found a puddle of water in the passenger footwell i have checked the scuttle drains and fitted a door membrane to te passenger door. I have just got back from working away and the car is still letting in water on that side. Whats next ???? Help!!!! 8O

have you checked under the windscreen seal on the bottom corners of the front windscreen?
i know i've got a tiny bit of rust there thats gone unchecked for a while and i occasionally get a footwell full of water after some constant rain.
not sure if this will be the cause but its a contender.

the sunroof drains to the door pillar where the front door hinge's onto the car.
if you've got access to an airline you can blow them through from the sunroof end.

my cabby was recently fitted with a new windscreen that was not fitted-sealed properly and as a result the passanger footwell was flooded.
The returned to repair it by sealing it in proper. Perhaps your screen needs to be re-sealed?

also check for leaks around the rear lights, the drain holes in the scuttle tray ....and also the sound deadening in the scuttle can also cause water to leak in , basicly it traps water underneath itself, which slowly rots holes , allowing yous scuttle tray to resemble a sive, but all you see is the sound deadening looking intact ...

Car still leaking
Ok guys, dried the car out took out the seats and carpet. Both door membranes are intact the sunroof is draining. But what i did find was a hole about 5mm in size in the scuttle tray. Am going to seal it when i get home next week should give the car a bit more time to dry out. could a hole this size be the problem ??? It would seem to be the logical answer as when the car is parked at different angles the water can run anywhere 8O

Also Check for a damaged or ill fitting door seal too.

rust
Just something for u to check, pop the bonnet and remove the black plastic scuttle tray where the wiper motor is.Underneath that u will find a white plastic cage type thing to stop leaves getting sucked into the blower motor. Its held on with 2x 8mm bolts in oppostie corners, remove them and take it out.Now have a look around the `square` shaped hole that u can now see,as ive seen loads of these rusty and the rain just pours in.
