can you paint a cabby roof?

hey all,

instead of replacing my faded grey vinyl roof is there a suitable paint to tart it up? if so where would i find it and what would i need?

its not in too bad condition so would rather save my money if poss.

I bought some stuff for a tonneau cover, supposed to dye vynil and leather, that was a year ago and it's still tacky with all sorts of muck stuck to it.
Brillo was the stuff.

Thing is if you try and dye it and it goes wrong you will end up changing it anyway, so why not just take the plunge..?

lol sounds like its not worth the time then will start pricing roofs up then mate and get saving
