Can you help please?

Hi,

I've just had the roof changed on my Mk1 convertible Golf and need to replace some of the parts that were removed. Unfortunately not being techical I'm not sure of the name of the parts.

I need screws for the roof (the leather cover pops onto these) and also the semi-circular plates that go under the screws.

Can anyone help me with the name of these parts and any ideas on where I can get them?

Hi mate.. i take it you mean the bits that are on the corner of the roof where it meets the body and the back window
these are plastic "roof hinge trims" which are fixed with 2 screws 1 with a washer and the second screw as a press stud washer
which is for the hood cover to clip too.
the plastic trims can be found on ebay but the srews are quite hard to find as ive recently found out…ive got a spare set of screws but would really like to keep them unless you get really stuck then give me a shout and we will sort something out…use the link below for the actual trim

the metal washers are called cup washers, you can get them from e bay too.
I would contact funkstar on here for the screws etc. He would probably sort the lot out for you.
