Can someone help with my roof

i did this on mine but unfortunately the window frame was rotten so i had no choice but to take it off. fit the roof as per the guide, its just a case of more faffing to get the screen stapled in nicely as you need to pull it tight but you dont have much fabric to grip!

Does your electric roof frame not work any more?
You could look into why that doesn't work maybe an easy fix.
As Johnny states you can swap the frames over however there are a couple of things you will need.
On manual hoods once the hood is open and folded down, to stop it from moving the frame has a locking mechanism.
So you have 2 tabs that come through the Plastic trim either side of the rear seat upright, you press those down to release the frame.
The hydraulic rams do this on Leccy hoods for you.
So you will have blanking plates covering the opening.
I would only swap frames if the one on my car is bent or damaged.
Because it's just as cheap to put a new vynil top on for around £115.00.
Plus you don't know hold old or well kept the top on the 2nd hand frame is.
It's like buying second hand shoes, only worn a few times.
You could end up putting a new top on eventually anyway, so your making work for yourself and spending more by potentially doing the same job twice.
Another thing to consider is the headliner, the bit you see from inside the car, The one on your frame may in better condition, but the one on the 2nd hand one in poor shape, ripped or dirty beyond cleaning.
The same applies to the interliner and top pad too.
So if you were considering swapping those over, you have to strip the frame from top down completely to get to the fixings.
Just a few things to consider.
