Cabby Electric window

:D Hi all,new to site and think its brilliant so far.Im a VW nut, specially mk1's, and have a Cabby Sportline and a Caddy.
Was wondering have any of you with Cabbys come across a snag with the drivers door window mechanism.
The rear of the glass jams on the seal on the roll over bar as the window is winding up.The top of the glass appears to be in too far.It has Elec Windows and have tried adjusting it etc. :banghead:
Any feedback would be fantastic.
Keep up the good work

Do you know which kit it is?

Does your's have a bolt at the bottom of the door for in and out movement of the window?

Ross is right you should have two bolts under the rear corner of the door. theese adjust the centre line postion of the glass on the roof seal. to check wind the window up and see if it in the center. if not adjust to centre.

Ther are more adjustment inside the panel for parrallel fit fron and back.

Hope this help.

Tanx Robb and Ross.
Its a factory Electric Window set up,lucky me.
Have already tried adjusting the aft guide rail in/out etc, even elongated the two holes to get some extra movement.Took it out and bent it a bit to increase the angle but nothing has worked.I also put a bigger load on the inner seal strip hoping it would push it out enough. The seal on the roll over bar is sitting tight.
Im getting a bit frustrated with it now. :banghead: If anything it should be the other side giving trouble cos the car was lhd when I got it.Now its rhd so the drivers door now would have been the pax door and shouldnt have done as much work.
