Cabby boot lid won't open

I went to open my boot this afternoon, to show off my coilover kit which is inside. And it won't open! :evil: I can turn the key both ways and it feels nice and smooth, just like it always has. But the lid is absolutly stuck solid.  Any tips?

This happened to me the only way i could release it was to get the rear seats down some how and release from the inside luckly nbo damage was caused to the seat release

take the seats out and open it from the inside then get the lock off and have a look at it.  its pretty easy to get the back seats out.
