Cab roof queries

In desperate need of changing my cab roof. The question is it's an electric hood but does'nt work. Can a new roof still be fitted? When i press the hood button to drop it i can hear a clicking in the back, but no joy in dropping it. Does anybody know a way i can fix this. Need a new roof on there asap because i don't want to much moisture inside the car!

You can drop it manually, there's a key in the boot with instructions. Have a look! All you have to do is remove the lining on the left to access the key, turn it all the way anti-clockwise and off you go. Please do be careful when opening and closing the roof as you can easily twist the frame. It's supposed to be done by two people, one on either side.
