Cab mohair hood maintance

Hi all,

Anyone know of any product you can put on mohair roofs to keep them jet black? My black mohair hood is starting to fade and has gone a bit saggy between the frames.

Hi,

I bought the autoglym stuff for fabric tops it has done it a treat. Its a 2 part product, a spray to clean then you wipe it off and then spray over a waterproofing agent. It has bought it up fantastic and when it rains the water just beads right off.

As for the roof sagging, perhaps its worth seeing if you can tighten the tension cables?

Cheers Joe

Otherwise Renovo do some too with a recolouring agent so three part product: cleaner, colour agent and waterproofer - have just cleaned and re-waterproofed my roof, must say what a difference.

Was getting a 1-2" puddle in front footwells, now nothing, was going to check front seals above handle area but now not bothering.

They do kits for vinyl and cloth/mohair hoods.
