Bra's on a mk1??

I know they are a bit like Marmite but what does everyone think to Bra's on a mk1.  
Is it a style thing, practicality to stop the bonnet getting stone chipped or just downright ugly??

I think they can look great on the right car so have been thinking about one for my Alpine White mk1.  With the black GTi arches, bumpers & spoiler, I think a bra could be a nice addition.

personally don't like them! I'd probably use a clear rubbery one though

i hate bra`s, pain in the arse to unclasp
as for them on cars they look rubbish, i mean yeh they stop u getting stone chips, but they scratch you paint going on and off

only look right on beetles end of!

Are you talking about bonnet bras or full cover up all the front of the car bras?!

I have a bonnet bra for mk1, looks good on it, problem i find is that on motorway it flaps like hell,  very annoying, best for shows, but i would like to drive round with it on constantly.
I think if they made a full one for front end and wings it would look silly and over the top as it would cover half the car with it being a wee little mk1

I had one too for a brief spell but had the same flapping problem at speed. It looked great when stood though, especially against the white paintwork. Perhaps I should have gone to a bra-fitting specialist ops:
