boot leaking

my boot on my mk1 golf is leaking can i but a new seal or what can i do to stop this?

You could try a new seal, but first check where it is leaking from. Get in the boot with a torch, and get a trusted mate to attack it with a hose, and then let you out!  (Hence trusted mate :wink: )

I found that my washer jet didn't seal completly, and a new one from VW cured the problem.

nick ya mams talc too. bit of sprinkle makes it easier to see were the waters getting in.
are you sure it's your tail gate?
it could also be your lights?
what are the wire runs like in the top of the tail gate (little rub pipes that go between the tailgate and roof)

i had leaking boot a while ago. Water was leaking in 2 places, it was perished tailgate seal and under the screen seal was like a pepperpot
