Bonnet release handle

The bonnet release handle from my Mk 1 Cab has recently 'disappeard' after a recent visit to a garage. Please can you let this mechanics-phobe know whether this has to be replaced with a specific handle or I can source something more generic?!

What did he do with it ? Are you sure its not got lost in the fuze box area ?  

Main dealer might have one ? If not post a wanted add .

Yes, am looking the right side - am not that much of a phobe!!

The plastic handle must have previously been snapped so it was a bit dodgy. I guess it must have fallen off when mechanic opened the bonnet and has got lost in the process.
