With fitting the above,will water(if washing car or rainning)seep underneath the bra?Thanks

It will. And sit in there, and potentially cause rust.

Thanks for that,thats what i was thinking,are they quick to put on & take off?As i like the look & could do regular checks

Think so mate not got one myself. Can't imagine it being difficult.

They take 2 mins to fit.

As long as the bonnet is clean, dry & dust free before fitting then there wont be a problem.

I run one in my old mk4 for 3 years everyday without a problem.

Just took it off some mornings, quick wipe over of the area with a speed detailer and refit.

Bonnet was swirl free and 100% even after 3 years.

Follow instructions and you will be ok, dont follow them and they will mark

i have a nice line across my bonnet where the bra sat for two years and i cleaned it every week
wish i never bothered may look nice on but not worth the re-spray i now need,
i sold it on here a few week back did warn him as well

Vw sell them for newer cars and in the manual in HUGE letters it sais they must NOT be left on the car for more than 24 hours at a time without the bonnet being washed and dried.

I had one on mine for a short time, just for shows really. It flapped about en-route and left marks in the paintwork along the rear edge :-(

My opinion only but think they look naff and i know a friend who had one who had to mess with takin it off to clean properly but it still left a small line on the bonnet

Had mine on the car for a few month took it off the other week and it had marked all my bonnet. Guess I should have read the instruction were it states not to leave on for any longer than 7 days. Dame
So my will be staying on for a little longer I till I can get a new respray :-)

Definitely worth putting on if your bonnet looks like it was fired at by a spread shot. Seriously not worth doing if your bonnet paint condition is mint.

The instructions say no longer than 24 hours not 7 days.

I bet everyone who had problems didnt remove and clean EVERY day.

i wiped mine all the time and still left a line across the bonnet .. not worth it
