blast or acid dip a shell..help..recommendations
hi,wondering which to go for.
getting a bare shell blasted or acid dipped.money not the real issue.more interested in the finish.
is there anyone in the north of england you would recommend for either.want the car back in etch primer or painted to the highest standard.

Yeah can highly recommend SPL they did my Rallye for me earlier this year,AA++!!

I paid £650+Vat ,for a full acid dip and all over etch prime after a bit of trade negotiation.

acid gets inside all the nooks n crannies, really cleans out all the old crud and rust. disadvantage of this is you'll need to reapply all rthe factory wax cavity sealer otherwise it';ll rot from the inside out. another advantage vs sandblasting is there is no media used, that stuff gets EVERYWHERE
