Black 'P' help needed

Okay guys, can anyone help me in how to paint the inside of the 'P's on standard Pirelli alloys.

Got them back from Lap-Tab and they are great, just need the black 'P's.

Please help.

hi mate, if it was me (being low class, pikey scum) would be using black hammerite, a steady hand and a fine brush, probably mask off face too just in case,

After paying the largest payout on the Mk1 yet, I thought about masking and spray painting….but after a trial it sounds easier than it is.

Might go down Halfords to try masking paint instead!?!?!

I heard that you mask off the front completely and spray from the rear - after prepping the inside of the p of course

 why didnt i think of that, makes sense, nice 1 mate

Well I've done two complete wheels now and it's not going too bad.

I've been masking each P at a time then painting.

Well worthing doing, looks so much better.

Sorry for the lack in replys. I'm working like mad to get the wheels done for Sunday. I've been masking them one 'P' at a time and hand painting with a really fine brush and some flat paint.

It's coming out okay, but a little more satin than I had thought….3 wheels done, jsut one to do tonight and then onto the centre caps.

You guys can have a look on Sunday. A644 MKX. Just don't be too cruel.

I'll be refurbing some p-slots soon cant wit to get stuck in. I'll also be painting the inside of the p's black, what ype of paint did you use? Does it come out flat, ie no runs etc?

I got some enamel paint which is like hamerite but is designed for use on metal smaller bits….not like hamerite being more gates/rougher stuff.

Cos it's flat, it's coming out pretty good. Bit tricky though to do. will see how they last then might try spraying them if I find this method no good.

Don't know if anyone is interested but finished the alloys off fine and got them out for the Gaydon show last month.

Just found this nice pic of me and my mates Sportline, but shows off the new alloy refurb nicely

Mine look as good from far dont they lowmk1  8O ? Mine are that bad I refused to pay the guy who refurbished them. Get a how to onthe site then I can give it to that mickyanic who messed my car up
