Anyone recommend somewhere to rent for car restoration?

I'd really appreciate any advice / tips from on the best sort of place to rent to work on a car… I live in a flat and I've got no garage… Don't think my folks back home would appreciate a knackered car in theirs

I was thinking of a small industrial unit, or some storage, and I've got about ?150 - ?200 a month to spend on it (max!) Has anyone done this sort of thing before?

It's a tough one  - or can be! Where I used to live I tried to find someone with a garage to rent - like a council lock-up. However, the local counsel had really tried to stamp out sub-letting so couldn't find anything.
