Anyone dealt with VEGE and their products?

I'm thinking about exchanging my engine and gearbox for Vege items.

I've heard good things about them but has anyone got any first hand experience?

in my years of dealing with vege i have only ever had 1 problem and that was dealt with sharply. maybe a bit more expensive but track record and reputation built up over the years worth the extra money.

Yep, I got a Vege DX replacement engine in my Campaign.

Yes, they are more expensive, but you get what you pay for. My engine sounds great, smells great and pulls great.  :wink:

Thanks VW-ONE, actually it was largely your website that put me on to VEGE, I just wanted to seek further confirmation of their quality. I'm not going to spare any expensive during my restoration, so VEGE it is! Can't wait to get started!

I am running a vega head on my daily driver, mk3 tdi.

I had a tappet go down after 6 months, so i phone`d GnS where i purchased it from.

I wanted a whole set pf tappets not just one, so they said i had to buy them then claim it back…

Being a vw tech i carried this out my self. Then bill`d Vega 1 xset hydrolic tappets, 1 cam gasket and 2 hours of my labour…….

  They paid up in full within 7 days….

cant say fairer than that
