Am I missing something here?

Hi guys,

Went to put the lower section of the dash in earlier and found theres nothing to mount it to? :dontknow:

Should there be some sort of brackets or something?
Theres nothing up behind I can see either?

Ive been told there should be a bar? Or some sort of U shaped clips?

Pics would be great if anyone has one?

Righty then, vagcat shows this on the cabby -



I didn't know that they put brown dash's in the cabbys?

So is it only the cabby that has these bar things across the lower part of the dash?
And is that bar the only way of attaching the lower dash panel?

looks like you are missign the knee bar, bug chunky bit of metal that bolts to the A pillars either side. unless the cover is stuck to it? doesnt look like it to me though I can see the holes where all the trim clips go into

US cars have the knee bar too, becasue their seatbelt design was so bad they had to put the bar in to stop you slipping under the belt in a crash
