2 different door handle problems

firstly… big troubles trying to lock the drivers side door… most of the time the lock just clicks and the key turns but it doesnt lock and the knob doesnt go down, you have to have it at a very specific angle to lock… bit of a pain… any ideas or solutions?

secondly… in the passenger door handle there is some supporting metal work inside which appears to have sheared off, as a result im getting the same feeling as if you took out the bolt that holds it in place, even tho the bolt is fine, im pretty sure i need a new one… right?

you're going to have to remove both door handles and have a look!  the lock problem might be fixable simply by giving all the mech a good grease up

there is a screw in the end of the door but where are the other screws holding it in place?

sorry there is another screw under the outer trim on the handle
