"Window Slot Seals"

I'm trying to improvise some window slot seals on my Mk1 Polo (they are of course obsolete   ; do any of you know whether the Mk1 Golf parts (255 837 703 and 255 837 704) are the same profile :dontknow: ?

Although on a Golf they are handed, the inside left (for example) is same as the outside right so are interchangable. Perhaps this is the same on your Polo as I'm sure the inside ones will be in much better nick!
