which turbo to use ko4 or ko3s

looking for around 250 hp i know that the k04 will do this but heard of rumers of lots of lag would the k03s mapped to about 230 be the same to drive or what other turbos could be used around this power as my turbo ko3 and manifold are cracked need to change them both cheers
