weber tb on my 1.8gti

ive just had a new mk1 its a 1.8 gti campaign its pretty sweet the engine has had a few tweeks... cam fourbranch ect...its got a webber throttle bodie on it which is like 1 big buterfly instead of the usual twinchoke does any 1 no how much these were and how common they were (are) as i havnt seen 1 of these before?cheers

Can't tell you the cost, but for sure they were sold for more than the factory throttle body. Not real common but also not rare except for it being older and many I'm sure have been trashed over the years. Expect there to be some low engine speed driving hassles, like during parking or slow traffic. Don't expect any performance benefits to speak of as the flow is only slightly better at high engine speeds.

thanks 4 the help ive got a standard t/b i mite stick on and see if there is any difference...it goes really quik at the mo but that may well be cuz theres other stuff done cheers for helping out bro
