Weber 32/34 K&n filter, does it fit?

Hi guys
Does anyone have a weber 32/34 with a k&n filter on the top? Rumour has it there are clearance problems between it and the bonnet. Is this correct?

Also anyone got a pic of it fitted? I do like the look of the k&n but sill stick to the standard filter if the k&n doesn't fit

no-one in this section will as they have injection engines

dont bin the std airbox otherwise you'll get carb icing. bolt on filter does nothing except make more nose and if anything makes car slower

I love the look of the k&n filters, but I already have a standard one, and if it means spening money for an inferior setup, it's pointless.

There is bonnet clearance but not bulkhead clearance. Can be sorted with a block of wood and a lump hammer! However, you will get carb icing issues.
