waterpump

looking for a new waterpump today.
 the local motorfactors had one at 34 pound but when i looked at it it only had 2 outlets. mine has 3.
 he said thats whats listed for an 83 gti so i thought id ask on here what i need?

 is mine different to others or was he trying to flog me the wrong part.

it has 3 outlets it's just not got the thermostat housing on when you buy it.

i did the same thing when i was drunk playing the new one i'd bought. turn it over and there is a big hole.

so its the right one then?
 so do i need anything else to go with it, should ireplace the thermostat.

might aswell change the thermostat while your at it then you know it's right.

sounds like its the right one but put it next to the other one to make sure.
