DX poor running, failing under load

Post

Last week i started noticing a stutter when the car was warm at about 3000 rpm and especially if there was any sort of incline. kind of felt like someone had clamped a fuel pipe off momentarily, now the problem starts from cold and wont even rev up to 2000 before it starts kangarooing all over the place. Cap and rotor arm looked burnt out so i have replaced them. Ht Leads i have tested in the morning and then after a drive and they all tested to 6.5ohms on the 20k ohm setting both times Ignition coil was replaced because it's readings were high next i'll be removing fuel sender and checking for crud in the tank as i'm not sure if i'm imagining it or not but the fuel pump sounds different when you turn the ignition on so i'm thinking perhaps got dirt in the system. Could an ignition amplifier cause this sort of failure? i've only ever seen them fail and produce a no start condition, whereas my car starts perfectly when hot but it does need 3 minutes of holding the revs first thing in the morning otherwise it struggles to idle. I'm new to kjet so not much clue to be honest. I also annoyed a previous employer off because i wouldnt drive a van uninsured which led to a nasty argument where i wouldnt be suprised if ive got sugar in my tank Never realised i sad bad words so much before i tried to submit this! haha Cheers for reading any suggestions greatly appreciated, Tim
