Turbo

May sound like a stupid question but how do you go about putting a turbo on a 1.6 and 1.8 gti?

Not a stupid question and you probably have a reason for asking but if its something you intend to do, would it not be easier to fit the readily available current range of turbo engine?

It might be easier as previous poster says, to just drop a 20vT engine in or a G60 lump?
