Trouble starting

Hi, i have a 1981 1600 gti. It was fine the first couple of weeks that i had it but now i have trouble starting it.
It will start first sometimes but if i try to start it soon after turning it off it will just turn over for ages until it eventually starts.
Someone has suggested new injectors, someone else has suggested the air flow meter. anyone got any ideas?

check the fuel pressure after its been run for a while if its non exisitant then accumilator needs changing :wink:
