still won't bloody start........

so i have now replaced the fuel pump, injectors, fuel tank, fuel filter, metering head and pipes and the bugger still wont start. any ideas?? we will replace the accumulator this week but if that don't work :dontknow:
these are the symptoms.
its a 1.8 gti
turns over starts and dies pretty much right away, if you keep the engine turning over it will not start again.
remove the spark plug and it still sparks fine, tried a new module too, and my module on a friends car, all fine.
could it be the fuel pressures?, vacum? any ideas would be greatfully received

Can you tell us how you replaced the injectors and metering head, eg what steps did you do before and after the actual unbolting then bolting in of those parts?

Check timing

Check compression

timing-check,compression check. bought a replacement second hand metering head complete, with pipes. and bolted it on,  brand new bosch injectors today with seals. and a brand new filter today.
could it be anything to do with the warm up reg, or 5th injector??

this is defo fuel related, if you squirt easy start into the airbox, it runs.

a few weeks ago it would drive for a few minutes and  then start to what seems to be a misfire, then die., give it a couple of mins, and it would go again. don't know if this has any relevence, but my brother tinkered with the old metering head and it never run again, not that it ever run properly.

You need to set the mixture properly after replacing injectors, or metering head. Until you've done this, there is no point replacing any other components. Indeed, your old injectors or metering head are probably okay, just needed to set the mixture.
