Running a g60 engine without supercharger

Hi all I'm in the process of helping my dad with his caddy project and we are planning on putting a g60 engine in it. we have a donor car but there is no supercharger fitted we do have a supercharger but it needs a rebuild and I don't want to risk putting it on the engine. I would like to test the engine before we take it out of the donor car so the question is will it run ok for test purpose without a supercharger many thanks in advance

Yeah no problem without charger. I also checked my engine by doing this. 

You just need to figure out what to do with the oil supply and return to the charger. I whipped the belt off with the charger in situe so oil feeds were still connected.

Don't leave it running too long because you'll have the water pump disconnected.
