rivage air feed

Hi. I got a Golf Rivage and the air feed into the air box needs to be re-newed. Can anyone tell me where to buy the piping please? Is it best to replace exactly how it is at the moment (piping with sponge center, air box connected down to bottom of grill) or is there something out there which will help air flow more? Cheers.

If you want to replace the part with like for like it's worth calling the parts desk at your local VW Dealer to see if it is still available.

Part numbers are:
067133853D (for chassis numbers up to 15-L-000 855)

067133853H (for chassis numbers from 15-L-000 856 onwards)

You can find any part numbers you need here:

http://www.vagcat.com (register to see all the details in the parts catalogue)

and the part numbers and diagrams for the air feed are here:

Otherwise you could replace it with some off the shelf brake/air ducting - try ebay

Good stuff, I suggested standard as I'm a bit of a stickler for trying to keep my car stock, but the ducting you've bought should do the job nicely.  8)
