oil pump change on 6A

Hi,

I have a 2.1 6A block fitted with a deeper Shrick baffled ally sump, its too low so I want to change it to a shallower KR one.

I am a bit confused concerning the oil pump, do I have to change the oil pump or will it be okay?

do you know if anythign was done to the oil pump? becasue if not then it'll be fine. i dont know of any oem fit pumps with a deeper pickup that work with a std mk1/2 sump. worst case you will need to change the pickup, not the pump though
