non start after fuel lines changed - 1.8GTi '83

Help , my projects been stood for a few months and have just changed the fuel lines. now she wont start any clues. i appear to have a spark from my plugs but to be fair not a great spark . She used to fire straight away , any clues. I think I am getting fuel up to the metering head . What checks does any one suggest

If you have fuel to the metering head try lifting the air flap by hand to see if you can get fuel to the injectors. Pull an injector to see if you are getting fuel out.

Check that you've put the pipes in the right place (return/feed), put your hand on the fuel pump when you turn it over to see of it kicks in, prime the pump and crack one of the banjos off at the metering head to see if it's pressurised, whip the injectors out and push the flap inside the air box up to see if fuel sprays. If all of these are ok check your ignition system and then timing ;-)
