Need advice on running issues on KR engine.

Hi all,  I have been working on mk1 convertible for a while now,
its a G plate with engine conversion to a KR engine.
orginal fault with the car was corroded fuel filler pipe which rusted the inside of the tank, knackered the fuel distributer, choked the injectors etc.
I fitted new tank, filler piper, second hand fuel distributor and injectors. It now starts with a bit of help and idles fine when warm, the problem i have now is no power to cold start valve when cold and no power to idle control valve, when i power both of them the car starts and idles fine from cold.
the two seem to be conneted but not to sure.
I have checked all the fuses they are ok.

if anyone can shed some light on these fault i would be very greatful
many thanks Robin

isv gets power from the isv control unit, so start there. make sure it gets 12v when ign is on. then check in engine bay that the red/green wire hasnt fallen off the single pin black sensor on the side of the head.

as for 5th inj, it gets power from the starter motor pin 50a, via the spade with 2 black wires to it, so check that.
