Mk1 Karmann LHD 1988

I have recently bought a Cabrio 1.8 Karmann 1988, 94hp ( GOLF CABR.70KW U9). Might be a silly question  but how do I know if it's fuel injection or carb? I've got to order some new ignition leads and I'm not sure.

The chassis number is WVWZZZ152ZJK  IF THAT HELPS.

ignition leads are same for both anyway, its just they changed around 1984 (for all models)
