MK1 16v service guide????

Ez all.

Been tryin to service my mk1 16v engine code KR. Been tryin to see how i can tell the ignition leads are in the right ports on dizzy cap as its tikin over but not starting. An i jus snapped a lead whilst changing them round

Anyone know a good way of knowing what lead goes in what hole on dizzy cap plsssssssss…..

Firing code is the same 1342 except its on its side so use the Seaman guide [sticky] and turn it over if you see what i mean . Haynes manual has some good pictures as well . No1 is timing belt end .
