missfireing when slightly accelerating

hi guys my 89" 1.8 8v seems to missfire when slightly accelerting.

on half or full throttle it seems to be ok but if im coasting along in a gear with my foot not on the accelerator or slightly pressing the accelerator  it seems to judder on missfire a bit

please help x

id be looking all over the engine very carefully for air leaks, then check timing, idle and co settings.

if its not had an ign system service for a while get new cap, arm, leads and plugs from here:

may as well go for a new air filter and oil change while you're there

when u say air leaks do you mean vacume leaks?

also check engine timing?

and mine idles hot at 1000rpm< is this too much? if so how would you adjust it?

yea vac leaks. idle around 900 is what id set it to, the idle screw is round the back of the throttle body
