metering head Overhaul

Hi boys & girls

Been away for a while work & stuff has had our cabby of the road for almost a year although I have had the opportunity to upgrade & renew the suspension.

I took it down for MOT and to set up the CO but it failed on the emissions & couldn't be adjusted. We had the dreaded filler neck hassle last year resulting in new pump, injectors and everything else cleaned out as best as possible.

After some investigation by the garage (guy there was brought up on MK1 & 2 GTI's) the conclusion was drawn the metering head was stuffed. I had a spare which I picked up a couple of years ago but it turned out that's creamed as well. Does anyone recon them?

Failing that has anyone got a known good one for sale?

crazyquiff does , add over on left of home page . You sure its the metering head ? 2 duff !
