K-Jet manifold Hole query

Hi ,

There are two holes in my K-jet system and I am wondering should they be blocked or blanked by some sort of a rubber plug. Excuse the oil and water  in the pictures. Got a new shiny rocker cover from Rich at crazyquiff but havent tightened it down hence the oil. Changing the fuel filter spilt some petrol hence the water.

Not sure about the first but the second on mine has a plug in. Is it an adjust ment screw in the second?

Neither to worry about.

Hole 1 is just in the web

Hole 2 is where the mixture is adjusted - can be plugged but not needed

Cheers

PS nice rocker cover :)

the second hole SHOULD be plugged, otherwise you are allowing un-filtered air into the system. its only a very small amount, but any unfiltered air is not good.

Knew they had tamper proof plugs in some countries, but not plugs on all cars for this reason, seems obvious though!
