Intake manifold DX=2H??

Is there any difference between both manifolds or it is the same reference?The difference is only in the throttle piece??

the parts list ETKA says the DX inlet manifold fits the EG EN and DX engine codes, The 2H engine was fitted from 89 -93 ith 98bhp, I cant seem to find any mk2 golfs with the 2H engine on the parts list…any ideas what models I should be looking for?

If you mean the PD digipants manifold then I believe that although it looks the same it wont actually bolt up correctly.

If you mean the PD digipants manifold then I believe that although it looks the same it wont actually bolt up correctly.

I think 2H is a detuned K-Jet 1.8 for emissions compliance, as fitted to late cabbys.

2H (98ps) is the catalyzed version of 1.8 112ps DX late cabbys,as Paul says.My cabby is DX,so the question is if it fits the one from 2H,but only the manifold,fitting my stock throttle.

ahh I did think was its a yanky engine as I know they were de-tuned due to all the emissions crap on them  :lol:  Ill have another look on ETKA

ETKA says it was only available in LHD, so I'm guessing it was never available in the UK. It kinda got confusing with the later cabbys, They did JH and KT engine codes as well as DX and 2H, and ETKA says the KT engine was a Switzerland/Sweden only thing. But all these are like really rare, or never sold in the UK, basically the DX was used for the majority of cabbys. Needs someone with a late cabby with a non-DX or EX (this was the Clipper engine) to clarify all the muddle. Walt maybe?

I have found it on ETKA under the cabby, it looks to be a different manifold, and the throttle is as per the digi pants set up, and there is no 5th injector listed so I suspect is its more a digi pants sytle set up..

EDIT - I have just found this - Engine so it would appear I am right, it is a digi-pants engine so the manifolds wont swap over.

Yes, 2H is digi.  Not many 2H's in the uk so if you're looking for a compatible manifold for the 2H engine then you should be able to use one off a PG engined mk2 etc.  Found these to be pretty much the same set up when sourcing parts in the past.
