I recently discovered No.1 injector had been sealed with silicone as the top of the seat was broken. Is it possibe/ advisable to remove it and replace it with the head on? It's an EG 1600 engine.
Thanks in advance for your help.

its possible to do it with the head on, worst case if bits of it fall into the cylinder they're only plastic so shouldnt be a problem.

Thanks, my Hex key drives came yesterday.
I figured that if it went TU I could disconnect the starter to stop it being turned over and take the head off later.
I gave it a turn with the 12mm key today and it popped out really easy new seats and o rings coming tomorrow.
