Injection bracket?

Hi again.
I have a mk1 1.6 diesel with a mk2 1.6 diesel engine.

My car was in for a timing belt and tensioner last week.
I have driven 130 miles and am getting a slapping
Noise from the belt.  I took it back to the garage today for further
Inspection and they informed me that the bracket
That the injection pump is on is broken. They
Say it's cast iron and cannot be welded.
Has anyone seen this before? Anyone got the bracket
For sale? I will upload pics once I get the car back.

Hey there. My friend is needing a new timing belt kit as replacement for the one busted in his car. We're both wondering how much did it cost you for the belt. Also, did you manage to fix your problem? I'm quite anxious to know the answer too because it might come in handy when I encounter the same problem.

Hi sorry for the late reply.
I was charged £110 for belt and tensioner. THey managed to repair the bracket and its been running brilliant ever since.
