ht leads and rotor arm where's best?
Alright gang
Just ordered my first (of many) haul of bits from gsf as instructed (advice much appreciated), not sure on a couple of things so though I'd ask:
I'm gonna replace the HT leads and distributor, where shall I get these from?
Seen Magnecor ones but wondered where's the cheapest place to buy quality aftermarket/Vag original.
Thanks guys and gals

if it's just standard stuff you are after, then gsf is just as good as anywhere else. a cap will cost about ?5. and rotor arm is about ?3. all cheap as chips.
just make sure the cap is on the right way round (there is a notch). when i got my golf the cap was on back to front and the rotor had been hitting the cap and messed them both up. :dontknow:

I just got a set of HT leads from my local VW dealership for ?24. I had ordered some from my local independent motor factor and they were the same price, but when they came they didn't fit?! I was a little worried by their attempt to tell me that VW never made a 1.5 golf!! So I went to VAG and got the right stuff for the same price. Plus the guy in my local dealership's parts room is hot so I try to make as many excuses to go there as possible!
