How does the plastic splash cover sit in my DX engine

Hi, i have got a plastic splash cover that sits under the rocker cover on my 1.8 DX engine. Does it just sit there or is it fixed in somehow. Mine never had one before so thought i would add one while my rocker cover is off.

Yes it just sit's there, no fixing needed, just make sure you have it the right way round, cut out bits near the cambelt end.
