high profile cam/shims

Anyone know the gap required between a high profile cam and tappets should be, just wondering if it is still the same setting as a standered cam would be. I dont know the make of the high profile cam  and this is for 1.8 gti 8v .Any info would be most helpful, And does anyone know where i can get shims from.

shims can be got from vw iirc, and the gaps should be in the same tollerance band as normal.
