Head Gasket Probs

how easy is it to repair a head gasket that has gone on a 1800 8v from a mk2 gti?

DIY, how much? how long and is there a guide on here anywhere?

Quite easy 4 hours DIY ……….Head set and bolts + oil change antifreeze etc etc ?85.00 . Skim head ?40.00 .
