Hard acceleration = blue smoke oily exhaust

As in the title, car starts and runs fine still accelerates as quick as always but with a fair amount of blue smoke,im thinking valve stem seals, compression tested it and have 150 accross all 4 cylinders(1.6 injection)i dont mind doing the work just hope its not piston rings or worn bores whats your thoughts, thanks.

Check the breather built into top of cam cover and asscoiated pipe work isn't blocked but its 30+ years old and prob done 100,000s of miles so could be due to what you have already stated.

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.
