Gear Linkages

Really struggle to get MK1 GTI 83' in to 1st gear, took it to a mechanic and he gave me a diagram and highlighted which parts I need to get. When I have looked at kits on the internet it doesnt look the the parts match those that on the diagram. Anyway any advice would be great!

It won't do any harm as they all wear out through time and they are cheap enough.

Also I'd strongly advise replacing the relay ball (no 21)
These are 99% of the time worn
Not on the shop as I haven't put them on yet but if you buy the kit and want the relay ball then I can do you one for £11
