Gas Flowed Head.

Ive managed to get hold of a gas flowed head, second el hando
(didnt flow my own as i dont want the car off the road for very long)

As I have it to hand im cleaning it up and Im going to replace all the oil selas and Tappets etc. Never done it before so should teach me alot  

A Fast road cam will be put in at some point too.

What i'd like to know is. Is there any 'uprgaded' parts I can fit instead of the standard parts when re-furbing a head'.
Ie: springs, tappets etc. Or are standard replacements fine?

Hey. Im runnin a ported and polished with a piper fast road cam in it.
Rebuilt with all genuine VW box standard gti parts and all seems to be good..

springs and tappets can be uprated but you pay a lot for not very much, i only using vw seals etc to rebuild, had so much trouble with aftermarket things.

also you probs know this but make sure you out the springs tappets valves that cam out back in the same seat they came of
